Add a store or stockist locator to a Shopify page

For merchants helping shoppers find physical stores, dealers, showrooms or stockists from the storefront.

Product instructions reviewed . Interface labels may change; current plan terms are shown in Shopify.

From installation to a checked result

  1. Add one real location

Enter a known store's details in Manage locations or use the supported CSV import. Check the address and map coordinates before marking it active.

  2. Configure the locator

Open Configure map and check the display settings. Preview the locator with an active location; a saved location alone does not add a storefront page.

  3. Add and save the theme block

Use Add block in theme editor on an Online Store 2.0 page template. Confirm Store locator map is present, choose its position and save the theme.

  4. Check the page as a shopper

Open the storefront page and verify the location appears in the map and list. Test a relevant city or postcode search, then add the page to store navigation when ready.

Common questions

Does adding a location publish it everywhere automatically?

No. The location must be active and the locator must be added to a saved storefront template. Verify the page before linking it in navigation.

What changes when I upgrade?

Starter raises the active-location limit from 3 to 50. Existing active locations are not a reason to approve a charge unless you choose the paid plan in Shopify.

Where should I install or manage my plan?

Use the official Shopify App Store listing to install. Open the app from Shopify Admin after installation. Any paid-plan approval happens in Shopify, never through a payment form on this page.
